As a Technical Asset Manager, you will have the main responsibility over the optimal functioning of several ground mounted or rooftop based solar PV assets that Ecorus has built in the past 15 years. You will follow the agreements towards the Assets owners and you will manage our O&M parties to fulfill their contractual obligations. By analyzing the performance of operating assets and dealing with market new threads (i.e curtailment, BESS, etc), you will work to reduce losses and optimize the services provided by the asset management team.
Your insights will be essential to our Head of Assets, who will use your data to standardize quality processes across all assets. This collaboration plays a key role in maximizing energy generation and efficiency across our solar portfolio.
Your tasks
Analyze the performance of operating assets against the base case budgets, including the detailed review and analysis of key KPIs such as solar production, irradiance, plant availability, site technical performance, curtailment, with a view to optimizing O&M services
act as Employer representative for EPC related matters, such as overseeing acceptance tests, defects, punch list items or similar issues
manage external asset management contracts, management of disputes, including liquidated damages and insurance claims
involvement in internal development projects to ensure that relevant information, best practices and new technical implementations are in accordance with best industry practice.
identify construction related or operational risks to solar sites through robust risk analysis and agree and implementing solutions to resolve or mitigate such risks
analyze causes of underperformance and present mitigation/remedial plan or potential improvements
follow existing or set new technical quality standards and create procedures to be followed during commissioning and O&M phase
What you bring
✔ Completed MSc in a technical field of study;
✔ Relevant experience in large-scale solar energy generation comparable environment;
✔ (Willingness to obtain) certifications: VCA-vol, NEN1010, NEN3140/3840 and Scope 12;
✔ Demonstrated experience in coordinating (maintenance or construction) work
✔ Operational experience of renewable energy assets
✔ Customer and quality oriented
✔ Health and safety management attitude
✔ Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus
✔ Driving license and availability to travel
